Ceci New York Tomorrow

We are all so excited to be hosting an event with Lisa ” Ceci “ Johnson tomorrow.  We wish to thank Katherine from KD+J Botanica for all of the Floral Design as well as Bruce Plotkin for photographing the Event.  Our clients love working with the ready-to-order collection of more than 60 Invitations from Ceci’s White Album and we are thrilled to introduce more clients to the collection tomorrow.  See you then!

Community Holiday Party

This week we joined forces with other wedding professionals in our community to host a Holiday Party for our clients , friends and colleagues.  It was a pleasure to work with Fresh Lime Events, Jordan Caterers and our Host The Plumed Serpent.  Lush Floral Design provided the decor , Bruce Plotkin and Karen Hill captured the night in film and The Cake Boutique provided amazing cupcakes and cookies.

I firmly believe in the strength of community and the success of our party was proof positive as to what we can achieve when we work together.  We are so very lucky in Connecticut to have amazing event professionals- even luckier to have some unbelievable clients that we are all proud to now call friends.  Enjoy the images and next year- won’t you join us?  Happy Holidays!

Real Wedding : Renata and Spence

Anyone on our team would giggle at the title of this post- for most of the planning process Renata and Spence were known to us as ” Spenata”. To us they embodied a young Hollywood couple – the travel, the beauty, their humor — the lifestyle – the pets! I could go on…. There was no question that they needed a “Brangelina” type name and well “Spenata” was it for us.  Julie and I were sad to learn that others had felt the same way about “Spenata” and their personal trainers also referred to them in this way.  This news crushed us.    We really felt we coined the term – and frankly we are going to go on record as saying we did -even though we know, and now you know we did not.
